Overview

This learning module unpacks some of the practices that can be adopted by livestock producers to reduce emissions and boost productivity. The module focuses on emission avoidance, carbon sequestration and carbon trading options.

Learning outcomes

After completing module 4 it is anticipated that you will be able to:

  • Link emissions reduction management practices with your own business goals
  • Link carbon sequestration management practices with your own business goals
  • Identify at least 3 emissions reduction and/or carbon sequestration management practices to be further investigated for implementation within your farming operation
  • Determine the pros and cons of carbon trading for your farming business
