Overview

This eLearning module describes the seven steps for planting and growing trees on farms in southern Australia, and some key considerations based on the requirement of the trees. It is based on input from farmers with extensive experience in planting and maintaining trees.

Learning objectives

At the end of this module, users will:

  • understand what is needed to develop a planting map for their property.
  • understand the steps that should be followed when deciding where to plant trees on a property
  • understand the different considerations when establishing fit for purpose trees.
  • be aware of the need for a planting plan.
