Understanding your genetic evaluation

Overview

The Sheep Genetics and BREEDPLAN genetic evaluations calculate ASBVs and EBVs, respectively, are run by the Animal Genetics and Breeding Unit (AGBU). This eLearning has been developed to give breeders and buyers a better understanding of the genetic evaluations used to calculate their breeding values.

Each section has a video for you to watch, before moving you on to a quiz to check your understanding of the content. You are welcome to re-watch the videos and re-try the questions as often as you need.

You can also pick and choose the sections you do, and come back to this eLearning module whenever you need a refresher.
