Overview

The following eLearning module is designed to help you as you work your way through completing an emissions estimate using the Sheep and Beef GHG Accounting Framework (SB-GAF) tool.

Before you begin watching the videos and completing a SB-GAF estimate it’s important to have on hand all the data you will need to complete the calculation. This will make your learning quicker and easier. It’s recommended that you download the data collection sheets by clicking here and use them to collate the data you need before starting the learning module.

To download SB-GAF go to https://www.piccc.org.au/resources/Tools and select ‘(SB-GAF) Sheep & Beef GHG Accounting Framework V2.1′ or use the online version at https://carbon-calculator.mla.com.au/

Note that the videos were created in reference to ‘(SB-GAF) Sheep & Beef GHG Accounting Framework V1.8’ and there will be some slight differences between the videos and the current version. Updated videos reflecting the most recent version of SB-GAF, will be available late February.

Learning objectives

At the completion of this module, users will be able to calculate the carbon emissions from a livestock business using the standard industry calculator, SB-GAF.
