Preparing Livestock for Dispatch
Overview
This module is part of the Livestock Production Assurance (LPA) learning modules and focuses on preparing livestock for transport in a way that’s safe, ensures animal welfare and minimises contamination.
You’ll learn how to check livestock are fit to load, check that facilities and vehicles are suitable, and confirm that all transport details are in place. Everyone involved plays a role in protecting animal welfare and making sure livestock arrive safely and in good condition.
