ConclusionConclusion1 quiz
Pasture assessment can be time consuming, labour intensive and challenging when undertaken in variable environments and in rough terrain. As a result, many producers rely on past experience and visual assessments. It is difficult to achieve high accuracy using this method.
In this lesson we will step through some tools that can be useful to assist in pasture assessment and improve accuracy.
Pasture photo standards
FutureBeef have developed pasture photo standards for different regions and pasture species across the whole of Queensland. These are available through this link: https://futurebeef.com.au/resources/pasture-photo-standards-2/
